Hmm. Is it only a deplorable regressive nostalgia that's dragged me back there already, then, terebinth.journalspace.com once more? Still, the place is under new management, and nothing is quite what it was, and nobody ever steps into the same river twice, or whatever it was Heracleitus said that's half remembered by a few people who can't at all remember anything else he said. Then, it's been a long time since he said anything. I wish you fruitfulness wherever you may care to exercise it. Certainly feels light and clean and airy here, all welcome properties in a new residence.
JS is back up? It isn't under Lagomorphics anymore I see. I still hate JS, with all the intensity I can possibly show on the net. I shall continue here. Or I can sign up there and retain my JS link and link that journal to this one. Or I can maintain both blogs simultaneously, with the same posts and all. Hmmmmm.
Well, everything's changed there but the name. The owner sold it on eBay... I've been saying for a while that there's hardly anything you can't buy on eBay if you wait long enough. I'd not been waiting for JS, though, and as I recall it went to a guy in the Netherlands, for... $5600, something like that. The new version's running on WordPress software. Still pretty dead after the first couple of weeks, about 500 members but a lot of those are former JS people who have signed up but are writing somewhere else now. Post an entry and it stays on the homepage for most of the following day, unless the spammers happen to be having an especially lively spell. Oh well, it's not as though I was writing anything anyway.
I'm reminded of Weird Al Yankovic's song called eBay, a parody of BSB's I want it that way. Yes, too much spam on JS, I'm already getting spam comments. My first post was bumped off in just a couple of hours :-( I'll post another one.
Criminally lazy, but always interested in learning new things and reading books. Get bored easily and don't write all that well, though I do try. Sometimes cynical and sarcastic, I'm extremely opinionated. I have no idea why I'm here though.
(That was the old me. The new me is here because Journalspace screwed up, why did I continue after they had a partial crash?!)
And yes, I'm way smarter than you.
